Week 45 (Year 6): New Broadbean and Cauliflower Plants transferred to the Plot and New Spring Onions sown….

So my Broadbean plants are looking quite health so after a few days of leaving them outside (to get used to the exterior temperatures rather than the relative warmth of the lean-to Greenhouse by the House), they were ready to be transplanted over to the Plot.

New Broadbean Plants

The planted Broadbeans were little plants so ready to be transferred onto the Plot  (Variety: Aquadulce Claudia). These were planted into paper pots which makes them easy to move into their new home.

Neat Line of Broadbeans

The Broadbeans were planted in a double line as there was a good number of these plants ready to go!

And in a separate Raised Bed, by the Globe Artichokes, purchased Cauliflower Plants were slotted into place. These will hopefully grow into decent vegetables but will have to wait and see.

Elsewhere, I took the opportunity to sow some further Broadbean plants, which I am hopefully of bearing vegetables:

And back at home, after seeing these bargains for just £1 per bag, I decided on a couple of bags of both White and Red Onions for the Summer:

More Spring Onions

Summer White Onions
