Week 25 (Year 4): Cor Blimey! More Courgettes are ready and pathways are refreshed…

A focus upon weeding the plot, as the weeds seem to be doing rather well in the warmer sunny days. The Bind Weed, whilst in some countries like Japan, use it as a delicacy, is becoming a pain as even the tiniest little bit left in the soil seems to sprout even more of the weed in my raised beds. So a focus upon weeding and clearing the “bits” from my plot.

Rainbow Shard has bolted so ready to be cleared and a fresh crop to be grown.

I dont know why I’ve left the cloches on the Raised Bed as I picked the Onions last week, and pickled them. But it will prevent the soil from drying out and being trampled by the local wildlife.

Another quick harvest of Spinach leaves, Courgettes, Swiss Chard and Sweet Peas

With new paths

New Paths with wood chippings covering the matting.

And my three Courgette plants are being productive already:

And inside the Greenhouse, the Tomatoes are flourishing

Tomatoes doing well inside the Greenhouse

They probably need to be tied up more!
