Week 34: More Produce, Planting Garlic and Transfering Onions…

Time to pick some more produce and enjoy the “fruits of my labour”.

Another good harvest: my last Pumpkin, Leeks (musselburgh & Toledo), Carrots (Parmex & Chantenay) and a few little head of Calabrese.

Beautiful Leeks.

And time to plant some Garlic bulbs after several were planted in Week 31:

Elephant Garlic (3 Bulbs) planted a few inches into the old compost heap which has housed my Pumpkins over the summer. Used old coffee grounds to reduce slug interest.

Planting Early Purple Wight Garlic into the old compost heap Raised Bed.

A good crop of Beetroot next to Swiss Chard.
