Week 30: A brief harvest in-between the rain showers…

What a wet week. Lots and lots of rain – continual showers have kept me away from the plot. A brief visit, in between the rain showers, I popped down and harvested some vegetables.

Allowed me to make a “Vegetable Bouquet” for a friend from Swiss Chard, Rainbow Chard, Leeks, Courgettes and a handful of French Beans.

My Baby leeks are juicy and tasty.

A handful of Courgettes.

A good harvest of lovely thick leaves of Swiss Chard.

Colourful Swiss Chard and Rainbow Chard.

Despite insect damage, the brassicas under the mesh are doing well. And the view up the plot at Week 30.

  1. Sweetheart I’m so inspired by your plot! We just built a veggie patch at the weekend. Still need to fill with soil and I’m gonna start it off with some seedlings. So excited!
