Week 19: New Mulch (Silver Medal winning mulch from RHS Hampton Court!) for my Sweet Corn & my Strawberries…

Significant growth made on the very front Raised Bed. The corn and Sunflowers are ready to burst.

New mulch in the Corn bed. Treated straw which should provide a barrier against slugs so we shall monitor progress.

New mulch covering the Strawberry Bed. Additionally, small runners have been potted on and left connected to the Mother plant in the hope that they root well.
