Week 11: Planting Leeks

Really exciting to be planting Leeks- never grown these before. I have grown from seed various packets, starting off in the propagator before potting into new small pots. I am hopeful to have some really large Leeks as I have planted:

  • Musselburgh Leeks.
  • Lyon 2 Leeks
  • Toledo Leeks
  • Porbella Leeks.

The Musselburgh leeks were sown directly in the ground and remain growing in their raised bed (now joined by other leeks in their third and final growing home with large holes).

And in two trenches: Lyon 2 Leeks in the hope that this helps in making them prize winners!
