So the peas (Hurst Greenshaft) are growing in the greenhouse and after a couple of days sitting outside in the sunshine, they were ready to be moved to the plot. I was surprised to research my peas to find they grow up to 1.5 metres so a net of some sort is going to be required. (The benefit of an allotment means I am able to experiment and hopefully improve my growing experiences: previous peas have only grown up to a metre so I am excited that these are going to be bigger and therefore more pea-ful!).

The peas started in toilet rolls in my greenhouse before moving onto the allotment.
In just two weeks, my shallots are growing and settling in.
Feels like I am getting going with new crops planted in the raised beds.

With so many onions, I have added Red Arrow Onions with some Stuttgarter Onions.
