Week 4: Preparations for the new Shed

Once I’ve got some planting in it seemed timely to review the back of the plot: an area which had been very much neglected but required now that a shed has been ordered and paid for. Indeed, it is arriving Easter Weekend, so we have to clear the ground and get ready which meant digging over ground which has been neglected and clearing more weeds.

The area has been neglected and so needs clearing in preparation for the arrival of the new shed.

In the back corner, needed to clear out the weeds and rubbish.

Found a tree stump which has been covered in a manure bag: full of insects.

The soil is in quite good condition.

Excited for new beds and my new shed!
