Week 4: First planting on my plot

The raised beds give the plot so much structure, neatness and tidiness that I am excited when planting is starting. (I had started the Red Sun Shallots and Stuttgarter Onions off in compost trays either in the greenhouse or in a coldframe so they are not going in raw. Some of the bulbs have some good growth on them and the potatoes where chitted before they were dug into the ground. The Elephant Garlic was planted 1 inch below the surface and all crops have been watered in.
