Feels strange that in a month, working every weekend and a couple of hours most days, the plot is coming together. Indeed, the produce I had left for the insects (celery and kale) have had to be removed as I put in new raised beds.

  1. How much topsoil did you have to add, it looks amazing. When I created my asparagus bed it took six 60 litre bags & 2 of gravel, but you have an enormous amount of beds?

    • It was a case of working the soil and adding bags of manure ala the trench method. Easy to do before the raised beds where put in. Now discovering which bits of the plot are more productive and perhaps more fertile.
